our cool new digs

Genesis Creative is FINALLY--yes, finally--nearing completion on our cool, new digs. Not only will it be a fun, stimulating place for US to work, but we fully expect our clients to want to hang out once they get here. We’ll be posting pretty photographs once everything is 100% complete.

Without reliving the entire painful nightmare, a 6-month construction project turned into a two-year enema. Let’s just say that we fired our contractor (which we should have done 18 months ago). We’ve experienced every horror story you’ve ever heard about bad contractors. We know there are many very, very good contractors out there. Ours was not.

The anticipation is intense for us. We’re particularly looking forward to our lively brainstorming room, our 25-seat movie theater (with stadium seating so that Sherard’s big head doesn’t block anyone’s view), our slick master control room, our funky movie theater style kitchen, the multiple edit suites, our large conference room, of course our new studio, and... well, we’re looking forward to the whole dang thing!

Don’t worry, we have a month’s worth of events lined up as part of our grand opening. We’ll make sure everybody knows when it’s time to come hang out.
